RCU appointed HCO to supervise the construction of film camp project phase-1, 2 & 3 a residential and serviced complex to support the film production sector and specialized technical working teams. The project mainly consists of 300 high-quality prefabricated, and fully furnished residential units in single and 2 storey in addition to a number of attached Service and Admin buildings (Kitchen, BOH, Restaurant, Gym, Recreational, Office buildings and Reception) plus standalone small buildings (Guard Rooms, IT rooms, Fire Pump Room and Water Tanks).
The project’s unique feature is the use of modular construction solutions that adhere to international building standards, and are built in a way that is environmentally friendly and able to withstand the harshest climate conditions. The move is in line with the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to meet urgent housing needs and provide innovative solutions in the field of modular buildings and facility management.
The project has a footprint area of approximately 220,000 m2 with a net floor area of approximately 175,000 m2.
